For the 2022 conference, we are pleased to offer a new Mentoring Forum that will provide opportunities for students and postdoctoral researchers to connect with senior and early-career faculty, to participate in breakout group discussions about their research via an online forum, and to formulate a concrete plan of action for advancing their research and career goals.

Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit 3 min. oral presentation videos. Authors of accepted papers are also encouraged to submit optional 30 sec. preview videos.

Building on its successful introduction in 2020, the 2022 Haptics Symposium will again feature a IEEE Transactions on Haptics journal track. Papers accepted to this track will be presented at the conference and simultaneously published as short papers in IEEE Transactions on Haptics. These papers are up to 6 pages in length, including references.

Following its successful launch at the 2018 Haptics Symposium, the Cross-Cutting Challenges (CCC) submission category will be held again at the 2022 Haptics Symposium.

IEEE Haptics Symposium solicits technical papers that report original, novel, unpublished work relevant to all the scientific, technological, and application aspects of haptics. Papers are up to 6 pages in length, including references.
